Presenting the summer interns aka fantastic four....
Chris Bukowski is a student at MIT majoring in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering.
He plans to stay for a fifth year and attempt to get a master’s degree and after will
commission as a second lieutenant into the United States Air Force. Previous forays
into the space community include work on the Mars Gravity Biosatellite, a student run
project aiming to study the effects of Martian gravity on a body. He enjoys sports of
all kinds, hanging out with friends, outdoor activities, and travel, especially after
taking a term abroad in Spain.
Jacob Zwillinger was born and raised in Maryland, United States, and is a recent graduate
of the University of Maryland, College Park, with a bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering.
His career aspirations lie in manned inter-planetary missions, especially to Mars. His short
term plans include travel, securing a job, and returning to school to pursue a masters in
Systems Engineering.
Ashish H. Mistry from India graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer and is now planning to
do a Masters in Aerospace Engineering. Ashish is very interested in Space Science & Technology
and would like to pursue his career in this field. He enjoys doing space related activities
and projects. He said that the happiest moment in his life was when he met with astronauts.
Lastly Georgia Toitsiou is from Greece. She is a graduate of Social Policy and Social
Anthropology. She also completed the Summer Session Program of ISU in Beijing China;
with a scholarship from ESA. She is about to obtain her master in e-government from
Roskilde University in Denmark, for which she also gained a scholarship; from the ministry
of Denmark and Greece. She is working in social research and additionally teaching in
Public schools. She is a member of the amateur astronomy group of Thrace and the ecology
group of her city in Alexandroupolis. She strongly believes, that space sector is beneficial
for society and that the corporation among different backgrounds, scientists, and governments
proves to be beneficial.
