Physical objects are not so easily reproduced but the information for making them is.

Launching a beast

Well, it was a bit of wrangling with mysql configuration and php configuration and searching and replacing Protoforge configuration parameters and updating PHP short tags and polishing a couple pieces of code I havn't looked at for a while (like the registration page) and on and on.  But we're close to having it up.  One more PHP module needs to be added to the server and Protoforge should be ready for use.

I will say that Protoforge is not completely finished yet.  There are two pieces to the requirement process used by Protoforge:  the design process (i.e. "Top Down") and the test and verification process (i.e. "bottom up").  The test and verification part still needs a bit of work but that's why this version is called an ALPHA release.  It also doesn't have some other things that would be nice (like real-time chat meetings and donation management).  But then what fun would the Beta release be if everything was finished already?
