The International Space University announced a new scholarship this week for Irish citizens: the Gogarty Scholarship.
The Gogarty Scholarship is open to Irish citizens. The Scholarship will allow gifted men and women to attend ISU’s Masters (M.Sc.) programs and Space Science Program (SSP). It is assumed that all applicants have a deep interest in space, especially in the context of Irish space activities. Successful applicants will be chosen on their merit and ISU along with Gogarty Scholarship officials will venture to select truly outstanding candidates. This year, The Gogarty Scholarship will consist of the following contribution to ISU Tuition Fees:
- One €7,500 scholarship for the Space Studies Program (SSP); and
One €12,500 scholarship for the M.Sc. in Space Studies (MSS) or the M.Sc. in Space Management (MSM)
The scholarship is available for the 2008 Summer Session Program (which is in Barcelona, not Naples). The deadline to apply for the scholarship for the 2008 SSP is 30 April 2008.
