Dear students/professors,
The Canadian Space Agency is proud to provide the Canadian student community with three exciting opportunities for 2008, but time is short, so please submit your applications as soon as possible.
Once again this year, the CSA will sponsor the attendance of ONE Canadian student at NASA Academy during the summer of 2008. If you are a junior or senior undergraduate or first year graduate student, will still be a students as of the fall of 2008 and are a Canadian citizen, visit: http://www.space.gc.ca/asc/eng/sciences/2008-nasa.asp for more information and details on the application process for this extraordinary learning opportunity.
Additionally, CSA will once again be leading the development of a strudent program for IAC 2008 in Glasgow and for the first time at COSPAR 2008 in Montreal. We hope that both of these conferences and the tremendous learning opportunities and networking they afford to students would be of interest. Please visit the following sites for more information on each and submit your abstracts as soon as possible:
IAC 2008: http://www.space.gc.ca/asc/eng/educators/iac_2008.asp
COSPAR 2008: http://www.space.gc.ca/asc/eng/educators/grants_cospar.asp
Over the past few years the Canadian student delegations at IAC and participants at NASA Academy have elevated the reputation of Canadian students on the global level. We hope that these opportunities will be of interest to you and ask that you please pass the information along to fellow students, or in the case of professors to your students and peers who may have interested students.
Best regards,
Jason Clement
