Road Trip to Space

New JPAerospace Blog

The guys at JPAerospace have changed the way they post updates about their activities.

Granted, one of the primary reasons I think it is a big upgrade is that I'm too lazy/arrogant to check many web pages that don't come to my Google Reader, so having an RSS feed to follow is a huge plus.

I like the JPAerospace guys. For most, it is a volunteer organization, the one exception (I think) being John Powell himself. They really just get together in their free time and build stuff that (a) works well (i.e., actual flights and contract money) and (b) has a legitimate shot at putting things in space. And they're real people.

Several months ago I nudged them into creating http://blogs.seds.org/pongsat for their PongSat program. Though it was on my TODO list to start that blog rolling again, maybe they don't need me anymore--I'd like to help, but their new system of updating is nice. We'll see what happens, eh.
